Kinloss by Thomas Girtin in the J B Priestley Collection Thomas Girtin (18 February 1775 - 9 November 1802), was an English painter and etcher, who played a key role in establishing watercolour as a reputable art form. Kinloss is a village in Moray, Scotland. It is located near the shore of Findhorn Bay, around 3 miles (5km) from Findhorn and 2.5 miles (4km) from Forres.
