Actress Dame Sybil Thorndyke with sculptress Liz Moore. Moore was 22 in 1967 when this picture was taken. She was working on a bronze of Dame Sybil for a new theatre in Leatherhead, Surrey. She was also sculpting Dame Sybils husband Sir Lewis Casson. Moore also worked extensively on modelling props for films like Star Wars and 2001 A Space Odyssesy and her designs included the Star Wars stormtrooper helmets, C3PO the robot and the 2001 Starchild. 07-05-1967 2461
