Two stallholders, both wearing berets and khaki brown work coats, stand at their stall earning a living on the corner of Rue de Seine with Rue de Buci selling belts, shoelaces, biro pens and an assortment of household items. The stallholders are standing in the road whilst a woman is on the pavement making a purchase. One stallholder is busy serving the customer whilst the other stallholder is trying to attract the attention of passers-by making his sales pitch by carrying his wares draped round his shoulders.
