Ninety four years old - and helping with the harvest. Mr. Peter Steele is 94 years old and is still working on the farm in South Uist, Outer Hebrides. He is seen in this picture tying up the scythed rye in a sheaf. Like many islanders, he was born and bred in this area and carried on farming after his father. The farm has already been passed to Mr. Steele's son - and now he helps him work it. 15/9/60
