Between three and four thousand bottles of milk are consumed every day by the workers in a factory which is producing thousands of small arms such as machine guns rifles and revolvers by mass production methods for the Ministry of Supply. The milk, sold at a penny a bottle, has been found invaluable for keeping up constant output and cutting down the sickness rate among workers.
