Burgrain; Germany; skull detail of St. Albertus. The relic to the small town near Isen in the early 18th century as a presumed skeleton of a martyr from the Roman Catacombs. It was decorated by a local nun. It is set into the predella of a side altar;and the display includes a gravestone which does not appear to be authentic; but rather seems to mimic the look of a supposed original Roman-era funerary inscription.
