Swami Anand. His early association with the revolutionaries of Bengal in 1907 was the beginning of his entry into freedom movement. He worked with Tilak's newspaper 鈥楰esari'. In 1917 Swami met Mahatma Gandhi in Ahmedabad; there he was entrusted with the publication of Navajivan and Harijan. He was co-worker and friend of Mahadev Desai & Narhari Parekh. He took active part in all the national activities. In 1928 he worked as Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's secretary / assistant in Bardoli satyagraha. Lateron he worked with adivasis (tribals) of Bordi. In 1947; he worked amongst the refugees of Sialkot and Hardwar.
