The wreck of the Olympic Bravery ; a Liberian tanker ; of which the sinking occurred on 24 January 1976 ; on the reefs of the island of Ouessant . The tanker ran aground empty ; but the 800 tons of fuel necessary for its propultion were enough to oiling several kilometers from the coast of the island .
