The tomb of Darius I (c. 522-486 BC). located at Naq?i Rustam; near Persepolis; The rock carved tomb has three panels its upper arm is a relief showing Darius I praying to the god Ahuramazda (who is shown as a winged disk). The twenty-eight people shown bellow represent the subject nations; symbolicly carrying the platform on which Darius is standing.
