Ursberg; Germany; St. Caritas. The former Norbertine convent in acquired three skeletons of presumed martyrs from the Roman Catacombs during the 17th and 18th centuries. All three are elaborately decorated; but incomplete records make their provenance muddled. St. Caritas is sumptuously attired in what appears to be 17th century clothing; that was probably donated by local nobles; and then modified to fit the skeleton; with cut outs added to reveal the bones.
