Yemrehana Kristos; Ethiopia; church. The church is near Lalibela; and named after a famed Ethiopian king; who reigned in the late 11th and early 12th centuries. This was believed to be his church; and his tomb is credited with being behind it. The church is built into a cave; and behind it is a large charnel ground. Photo 2013.
