Rituximab. Molecular model of the drug rituximab. This chimeric monoclonal antibody, sold under the brand name Rituxan, destroys B cells that have the protein CD20 on their surfaces. It is used to treat diseases which are characterized by overactive, dysfunctional, or excessive numbers of B cells. This includes many lymphomas, leukemias, transplant rejection, and autoimmune disorders.
