It hugged the body very closely; making visible all the contours of an elegant waist. It can be seen in figures 101 and 102.'鈥業n fig. 101; her veil is positioned with much grace; and the curls of hair which appear underneath produce a very nice effect. In truth; [this figure] is from the 13th century; but these types of veils were still in use.'
