5395. Hebrew inscription dating c. 1st. C. BC. written on one side of a 96 cm long stone slab. The text is a sort of literary-prophetic polemic with several references to the prophets of the Bible like Daniel; Micha and Gabriel. Special interest draws the part of the text that speaks of a Messiah who will rise from the dead after three days. The stone inscription; probably found near the Dead Sea in Jordan; is according to scholars a rare example of a stone with ink writing from the pre-Christian era; compared to a 鈥楧ead Sea scroll卯 in stone.
