THE MYTHICAL ITEMS Topkapi Palace is built on Byzantine acropol situated in Sarayburnu which is the historical Istanbul peninsula; between Marmara sea; The Bosphorus and Golden Horn. Fatih Sultan Mehmet; (the Conqueror) in 1478 had the Topkapi Palace constructed to be the official residence of the Otoman Sultans and center of State Administration Topkapi Palace consists of two main departments in distinction with their being for administrative and educational places or living area of the Sultan; B顁un which consists of the service buildings on first and second yards; and Ender鹡 which includes the internal organisation structures of Mukaddes Emanetler Dairesi (Sacred Safekeeping Rooms) visited only by the sultans . In the chamber of treasures there are Sacred and Holy items from the Byzantine times such as the bones of St. John the Baptist; and the the Holy swords of Islam. there is a rumor that somewhere there is hidden the diamonds of Alexander the Great !!!
