Astrology. The nine planetary spheres, as ratios of Pythagorean harmonics. Hand coloured (loose) engraving from 1621 edition of Robert Fludd's 'Opera Omnia'. The abstract Trinitarian 'God' is linked to the earth by means of geometric ratios, linked to musical intervals. The ratios are essentially arcane versions of Pythagorean philosophy.
