HEALTH - THE SECRET OF SECRETS A pseudo-Aristotelian text, De Secretis Secretorum (Concerning the Secret of Secrets), printed in Burgos, Spain, 1505, allegedly records the advise given by Aristotle to Alexander the Great. The text, described by one historian as 'The most popular book of the middle ages', touches on various superstitions and upon some of the rules of physiognomy, and its affinity to the voice, hands and feet. Directions are given for the appropriate constellations under which to practise bleeding, and on the iinfluence of the zodiacal signs, and there are many aphorisms on maintaining health.
