SPIRITUALISM, Chromolithographic facsimile, by Mr. J G. Keulemans, of slate writing constructed by invisible entities, during a seance with William Eglington. The simplicity of the four words (Enforced, this, here and must) is illusory. The four words are a result of an experiment, in which, prior to the spirit writing, and order of colours and words were predetermined, from a given page of a book. The first word was to be written in white, the 2nd in blue, the 3rd in red, and the 4th in grey. The randomly-chosen page was 61. The spirit writing reveals the correct page [61], and the correct sequence of words, which are from the sentence, Here I must bring this enforced vindication to a close. The top left drawing is of an owl's head. This was drawn by Keulemans, who then invited the invisible spirit to make a copy of it. A copy of sorts was made by the spirit, who wrote below, 'I am not an artist as you see. Goodbye. Godbless you. Chromolithograph facsimile, from John S. Farmer, Twixt Two Worlds. A Narrative of the Life and Work of William Eglington, 1886.
