Examining witches. 17th Century illustration showing Anne Baker of Bottesford; Joan Willimot of Goodby; and Ellen Greene of Stathern. All three women were taken for examination and revealed that they had visions and consorted with familiar spirits. They were accused of being involved with the witches of Belvoir. The witch trials took place between 1618 and 1619. Published in London, in 1619.
