ELIZABETH T. GREENFIELD /n(c1819-1876). Elizabeth Taylor Greenfield. American singer. Born into slavery, Greenfield was the 'Black Swan' who debuted at Metropolitan Hall in New York City in 1853 and performed for Queen Victoria. Line engraving, 19th century.
