ALASKA: EARTHQUAKE, 1964. /nView of Seward, Alaska, several months after the earthquake of 27 March 1964. The waterfront was largely destroyed as a result of an underwater landslide. Nearby railroad tracks dangle over the scarp, and heaps of railroad cars and debris thrown up by tsunami waves litter the coast. Photograph, 1964.
