Ralph Madson and US senator. Ralph Earl Madsen (left, 1897-1948) was a cowboy from Nebraska He reached a height of 7 feet 6 inches (228.6 centimetres), one of the tallest humans in history. Photographed in 1919, at the US Capitol, Washington DC, USA, shaking hands with Senator Morris Sheppard (right, 1875-1941). Sheppard was senator for Texas from 1913 to 1941.
