Shanghai, satellite photo, 2015. With a population of some 24 million people, Shanghai is China's most populated city. The Huangpu River (from bottom middle to upper middle) bisects the city and flows into the Yangtse River. To the right of the Huangpu lies the older district, to the right, is the Lujiazui district which was developed in 1991. Taken on the 12th March 2015 by the Landsat 8 satellite.
