Inuit hunters butchering an Atlantic walrus (Odobenus rosmarus). Walruses are hunted from boats in the Arctic spring. The carcass is brought ashore and hauled away from the edge of the coastal sea ice and then butchered for its meat. Photographed in April, near Qaanaaq, Greenland.
