Broad-barred white moth (Hecatera bicolorata) on tree bark. This species is found in Europe, the middle East, Siberia and China. The larva feeds on the flowers and buds of various yellow-flowered Asteraceae such as hawksbeards, hawkweeds and sow thistles, and it overwinters as a pupa.
