Fossil tooth of an Otodus sp., a predatory shark-like fish, living in the Palaeocene and Eocene epochs, from 60 to 45 million years ago. It was widespread with fossil remains found in Eurasia, Africa and North America, and could reach a length up to 8 meters. This specimen, from Eocene deposits in S Morocco, measures 55 mm from tip to tip.
