MODEL RELEASED. Sperm whale (Physeter macrocephalus) skeleton assembly. Conservator Abdi Hedayat from the Zoological Museum in Copenhagen mounting sperm whale bones onto a metal frame for public display at the Museum. These bones came from a whale first found stranded on Henne Strand, Jutland, Denmark. It measured 14 meters in length and weighed an estimated 30 tonnes. The carcass was dissected and the bones cleaned under a lengthy process.
