Undulatus asperatus cloud formation. This formation is similar to an altostratus undulatus cloud formation, and is sometimes just known as an asperatus cloud formation. Such clouds are also known as billow clouds, wind row clouds, or wave clouds. They typically appear following convective thunderstorm activity, and can indicate a temperature inversion in the atmosphere. Photographed in July over Chateaulin, Brittany, France.
