Reportage in the Aigues-Vertes village in Switzerland, whose inhabitants all suffer from mental handicap. The Aigues-Vertes Foundation was founded in 1961 and is an institution whose aim to to help with the social and economic integration of people suffering from mental disability. It offers a place to live in the shape of a village with 20 buildings spread over a 21.5-hectare site, and can house 120 villagers. They all work in the village according to their own capabilities and at their own pace.
