Cuenca is a UNESCO World Heritage site, in the Region of Castile-La Mancha, between the J??car and Hu??car river canyons. Its historic centre The Cathedral, Casas Colgadas (Hanging Houses) looks out over rocky canyon walls in the heart of the Cuenca Mountains. The bridge of San Pablo joins the old city at the vaulted alley next to the 'hanging houses' with the other bank of the Huecar and the monastery of San Pablo. This metallic footbridge of 100 m length, about 50 m height, is certainly one of the tourist attractions of Cuenca. The bridge was built in 1543.
