Head and brain model. 18th-century wax and wood model of a human head dissected in axial section to reveal the internal structure of the brain. The section is at the height of the lateral ventricles, and reveals the pineal gland. This exhibit is part of the collections held at the Javier Puerta Museum of Anatomy, at the Faculty of Medicine of the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain.
