Allosaurus dinosaur, fossil skull. This predator's 60 or so dagger-like teeth were used to kill and dismember its prey. Serrations made for easy meat slicing. while the hinged jaws allowed large pieces to be swallowed whole. This specimen is part of the collections held at the Natural History Museum, London, UK.
