Iguanodon dinosaur, fossil teeth. These are the original fossils found in 1822 by British palaeontologist Gideon Mantell (1790-1852)) and his wife. The tooth on the right is 5.3 centimetres long as preserved. Iguanodon was a large plant eater with cheek teeth for grinding vegetation and hoof-like claws. These specimens are part of the collections held at the Natural History Museum, London, UK.
