Geghard monastery. Meteor tail in the night sky over the Geghard monastery, Armenia. This unique building is partially carved out of the adjacent mountain and surrounded by cliffs. The main chapel was build in 1215, but the monastery complex was founded in the 4th Century by Gregory the Illuminator (first official head of the Armenian Apostolic Church) at the site of a sacred spring inside a cave.
