Geosaurus gracilis, crocodilian fossil. This extinct aquatic crocodylian lived during the Upper Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous periods. This specimen was found in lithographic stone, Eichstadt, Bavaria. Some of the history is described at upper left. This display is part of the collections held at the Natural History Museum, London, UK.
