Lemaire Channel, Antarctic peninsula. Lemaire Channel is a strait off Antarctica, located between Kiev Peninsula and Booth Island. It is one of the top tourist destinations in Antarctica and has been nicknamed Kodak Gap . This narrow iceberg-filled passage is lined with steep cliffs, and measures 11 km long and just 1,600 metres wide at its narrowest point.
