Queen Hatshepsut represented as a male pharaoh, on the left, presents twin obelisks to the God Amun, The hieroglyphic inscription relate that both obelisks had been covered with fine gold and that their height reached to heaven. One of these two obelisks still stands at Karnak while the other lies broken nearby. Originally from a sanctuary built by Queen Hatshepsut. Egypt. Ancient Egyptian.
