Proboscis monkey (Nasalis larvatus) being released by researchers at the Kinabatangan River, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia. The monkey has been fitted with a satellite tracking collar. The research was conducted jointly by the Sabah Wildlife Department and the Sime Darby Foundation. The team must wear full protective clothing to avoid infection from simian viruses.
