Music and prime numbers. Artwork of a blackboard displaying the opening of Part I of the Goldberg Variations (1741), an aria and set of 30 variations by German composer Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750). Numbers (mostly prime numbers) have been written on the blackboard and the title rewritten as 'Prime Variations'. A prime number is one only divisible by 1 and itself.
