The nipple, which is still attached to its blood and nerve supply, has been isolated and will be moved up to the arch (top centre) once excess breast tissue has been removed. This surgery will result in the patient having smaller, more symmetrical breasts. The patient had a total of 1.1 kilograms of breast tissue removed and went from a G cup size (left breast) and an F cup size (right breast) to a DD cup size.
