Barite. Aggregate of Barite crystals. Barite is a barium sulphate mineral that generally forms white or colourless crystals, but can occur in white to yellowish-white aggregates, as seen here. It is the main source of barium. This sample is from the St Andreasberg mine in the Harz mountains, Germany, and measures 210 mm wide.
