Discovered in 1932, it has an orbit which ranges from 1.08 to 2.76 Astronomical Units (1AU= 149.6 million km) with an orbital period of 2.66 years. Amor is one of the 'Earth grazing' asteroids, passing very close to the orbit of the Earth.
