This ancient site is on the border between Utah and Colorado. The alignment of the pueblo means that the sun shines into the Sun Room" on important astronomical dates, such as the spring equinox. The pueblo dates to 1277 and was built by people from the Pueblo culture who abandoned the area by the mid-14th century. Image obtained by the Ikonos satellite on 1 January 2001."
