The reflective glass construction of the California Plaza building at 100 Pringle Avenue, Walnut Creek, California. The glass is given its reflective coating by a sputtering technique developed by Airco Solar Producs (a member of The BOC Group). Certain types of coating reduce heat loss through the glass surfaces in hot weather and are used as single and double glazed panels. The sputter coating allows architects a choice of coloured tints. The California Plaza building was designed by the firm of architects KMD - Kaplan, McLaughlin & Diaz.
