Computerised clothing. Fashion model wears comput- erised smart clothes". The Nex outfit can receive navigational information and electronic mail (e- mail) through wireless links. This information is played through earphones or projected onto the glass of the spectacles. A computer pad may also be attached to the arm in order to make notes. The outfit is powered by batteries and by devices which convert the wearer's heat or movement into electricity. Such "smart clothes" can continuously cater for a user's needs, & may soon be used widely. The outfit was a collaboration between researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, & international fashion designers."
