Limb movement sensor worn by a dummy. This exoskeletal device is worn on the outside of the arm or other limbs and measures their movements through sensors, relaying the data to a computer. Such limb movement sensors were originally designed for analysing human movements, providing information used in the development of dexterous robotic limbs. They are now also used in the clinical analysis of joint and limb function and impairment. Photographed at the Dexterous Robotics Laboratory, Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas, USA.
