Manufacturing facility, Iraq. Satellite image of the Al Furat manufacturing facility in Iraq. The name Al Furat does not relate to the location, rather it is a code-name. The facility is 27-30 kilometres southwest of Baghdad. Despite a lack of evidence, the United States believe the site is intended for the design, assembly and testing of gas centrifuges for uranium enrichment.
