Radioactive handling. Technician using levers to control robot arms in order to handle radioactive objects which are in sealed chambers behind the glass screen. This type of equipment is used to handle highly radioactive objects. The glass screen contains chemicals which block the radiation. The sealed chambers are held at a pressure less than that of the atmosphere to ensure that no radioactive material is released in the event of a breach.
