Weightlessness. German astronaut Hans Schlegel floats 'upside down' inside the Spacelab D2 science module during Shuttle Mission STS-55. In the background, astronaut Bernard Harris monitors one of the experiments. Spacelab D2 was carried in the payload bay of the Shuttle during this mission which flew on 26 April to 6 May 1993. About 90 experiments were performed, mainly designed and provided by German scientists.
