Football research. Virtual reality set-up for football research. The virtual reality footballer is at right, with a real footballer at left. Recording the motions of the footballer helps researchers increase the authenticity and accuracy of the virtual reality model. The virtual reality set-up allows researchers to study the performance and reaction times of footballers. This research is being carried out in the Movement and Perception laboratory, as part of work by the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the University of the Mediterranean.
